Overview Head of Tax (w/m/x) at NTT DATA Europe & Latam. Lead the Corporate Tax function and report to the Head of Accounting, Reporting & Tax. The current Corporate Tax team handles a range of tax topics, supports our business areas on all tax questions, and coordinates with tax and audit authorities. Responsibilities Lead and develop the employees in the tax responsibility area. Be the central point of contact for national and international tax law questions for the company and the Japanese parent company. Overall responsibility for the teams competence profile and service portfolio, including: Tax reporting to the parent company. Compliance with national and international tax laws and regulations. Management of tax audits in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Tax advisory involvement in corporate projects. Introduction, support, and development of a Tax Compliance Management System and related processes. Review of tax balances and tax returns, validation of current and latent tax determinations. Documentation of processes, work instructions, and memoranda. Conduct training sessions. Point of contact for auditors, audit and external advisors. Technical leadership of projects implementing tax requirements and co-responsibility in the implementation and evaluation of corporate projects from a tax perspective. Requirements Degree in economics or law with a focus on tax law. Tax advisor exame. Several years of leadership experience and expertise in shaping and developing the tax department. At least 8 years of professional experience in tax departments of international companies and/or international-focused consulting firms. Analytical, networked thinking, and problem-solving skills. Independent, structured, results-oriented work style with a hands-on mentality. Confident, persuasive demeanor with strong teamwork, communication and negotiation skills. Valuing and collaborative leadership style. Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
