The role focuses on maintaining stable and secure compute services through proactive operations, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, patching, and automation activities. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ulliAdminister and support Linux server environments and KVM-based virtualization platforms. /liliPerform day-2 operational activities including system maintenance, patching, health checks, and performance monitoring. /liliManage server hardware lifecycle activities across Dell PowerEdge and Lenovo ThinkSystem platforms. /liliCoordinate firmware updates, operating system maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades. /liliTroubleshoot infrastructure, operating system, hardware, and virtualization-related issues. /liliSupport operational automation and continuous improvement initiatives. /liliParticipate in incident management, problem resolution, service reviews, and change implementation activities. /liliMaintain operational standards, documentation, and governance processes to ensure service stability and reliability. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ulliExperience supporting Linux-based enterprise environments and virtualized infrastructure. /liliStrong knowledge of Linux administration, server hardware, and KVM virtualization technologies. /liliExperience troubleshooting compute infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. /liliAbility to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact service delivery. /liliStrong analytical skills and adherence to operational best practices. /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications: /h3 ulliRed Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) /liliDell PowerEdge administration or implementation training /liliLenovo ThinkSystem administration or implementation training /liliAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /li /ul h3Language Requirement: /h3 ullibGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /liliAbility to participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change-related communication, and daily operational interactions with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and support teams. /lilibApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ul h3Location: /h3 ulliCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, and service meetings as required. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
