The role is responsible for designing and evolving resilient network architectures, defining operational standards, supporting complex escalations, and ensuring network services remain secure, scalable, highly available, and aligned with business and infrastructure requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liDesign, implement, and govern enterprise bL2/L3 network architectures /b. /li liDefine and maintain network standards for bBGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, high availability, and SDN-integrated environments /b. /li liProvide architectural guidance for data center, cloud-connected, and hybrid network infrastructures. /li liLead complex network troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and major incident resolution activities. /li liDevelop resilient network design patterns and operational frameworks for implementation and support teams. /li liSupport and optimize bCisco Nexus /b switching environments and bPerle IOLAN /b console server infrastructure. /li liReview network performance, scalability, resilience, and capacity requirements. /li liCollaborate with security, cloud, compute, and storage teams to ensure end-to-end infrastructure integration. /li liMaintain architecture documentation, standards, governance processes, and best practices. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ul liExtensive experience designing and supporting enterprise and data center network infrastructures. /li liDeep expertise in bCisco networking technologies /b, including routing, switching, and high-availability architectures. /li liStrong knowledge of bBGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, SDN technologies /b, and modern network design principles. /li liExperience with bCisco Nexus /b platforms and data center networking environments. /li liFamiliarity with bPerle IOLAN /b console server solutions and operational management practices. /li liProven ability to lead complex technical escalations and architecture engagements. /li liStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications: /h3 ul liCisco bCCIE Enterprise Infrastructure /b /li liCisco Nexus and Data Center specialist certifications /li liAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /li /ul h3Language Requirement: /h3 ul libGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /li liThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customer teams, operational contacts, and site personnel. /li libApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ul h3Location: /h3 ul liCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, architecture, and service review meetings as required. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
