The role is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing NetApp and Ceph storage environments, ensuring high performance, scalability, resilience, and operational excellence. As a senior technical authority, you will lead complex storage initiatives, support critical escalations, and translate business and infrastructure requirements into robust storage solutions. /ph3Key Responsibilities: /h3ulliDesign, implement, and govern enterprise storage architectures based on bNetApp /b and bCeph /b technologies. /liliProvide expert guidance on storage performance, availability, scalability, and resilience. /liliArchitect and maintain data protection, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management strategies. /liliSupport CSI integrations and storage services for containerized and cloud-native platforms. /liliLead capacity planning, performance analysis, and storage optimization initiatives. /liliAct as the escalation point for complex storage incidents and root cause investigations. /liliDevelop storage standards, operational procedures, and governance frameworks. /liliEnsure storage platforms remain secure, supportable, and aligned with overall infrastructure architecture. /liliCollaborate with compute, cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and security teams on end-to-end platform design. /li /ulh3Required Qualifications: /h3ulliExtensive experience designing and supporting enterprise storage environments. /liliStrong expertise in bNetApp ONTAP /b, bNetApp AFF A-Series /b systems, and bCeph /b storage platforms. /liliDeep understanding of storage architecture, data protection, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts. /liliExperience integrating enterprise storage solutions with virtualized, cloud, and containerized environments. /liliProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex storage and infrastructure issues. /liliStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ulh3Preferred Certifications: /h3ulliNetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (bNCIE /b) for ONTAP, SAN, and/or Data Protection /liliRed Hat Ceph Storage Administration certification or equivalent Ceph training /liliAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /li /ulh3Language Requirement: /h3ullibGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /liliThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams. /lilibApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ulh3Location: /h3ulliCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, and service review meetings as required. /li /ul #J-18808-Ljbffr
