The role is responsible for designing, governing, and optimizing NetApp and Ceph storage environments, ensuring high performance, scalability, resilience, and operational excellence. As a senior technical authority, you will lead complex storage initiatives, support critical escalations, and translate business and infrastructure requirements into robust storage solutions. /p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liDesign, implement, and govern enterprise storage architectures based on bNetApp /b and bCeph /b technologies. /li liProvide expert guidance on storage performance, availability, scalability, and resilience. /li liArchitect and maintain data protection, backup, recovery, and lifecycle management strategies. /li liSupport CSI integrations and storage services for containerized and cloud-native platforms. /li liLead capacity planning, performance analysis, and storage optimization initiatives. /li liAct as the escalation point for complex storage incidents and root cause investigations. /li liDevelop storage standards, operational procedures, and governance frameworks. /li liEnsure storage platforms remain secure, supportable, and aligned with overall infrastructure architecture. /li liCollaborate with compute, cloud, Kubernetes, networking, and security teams on end-to-end platform design. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications: /h3 ul liExtensive experience designing and supporting enterprise storage environments. /li liStrong expertise in bNetApp ONTAP /b , bNetApp AFF A-Series /b systems, and bCeph /b storage platforms. /li liDeep understanding of storage architecture, data protection, replication, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts. /li liExperience integrating enterprise storage solutions with virtualized, cloud, and containerized environments. /li liProven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex storage and infrastructure issues. /li liStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. /li /ul h3Preferred Certifications: /h3 ul liNetApp Certified Data Administrator (bNCDA /b) /li liNetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (bNCIE /b) for ONTAP, SAN, and/or Data Protection /li liRed Hat Ceph Storage Administration certification or equivalent Ceph training /li liAdditional Security, Network, Storage, or Compute infrastructure certifications are advantageous /li /ul h3Language Requirement: /h3 ul libGerman language proficiency at minimum B2 level is mandatory. /b /li liThe role requires the ability to participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, incident coordination, service reviews, change management activities, and day-to-day communication with German-speaking stakeholders, customers, and operational teams. /li /ul h3Citizenship Requirement: /h3 ul libApplicants must hold Swiss citizenship. /b /li /ul h3Location: /h3 ul libWinterthur area, Switzerland /b /li liCandidates should be based in, or regularly available within, the Winterthur region to support local operational alignment, customer engagement, coordination with onsite and remote-hands teams, and participation in governance, escalation, and service review meetings as required. /li /ul pbWorkplace type: /b /p pbAbout NTT DATA /bbr/NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune /p pGlobal 100.
