Overall Purpose

  • Own and drive the global C&S Go-To-Market strategy and execution for the German market
  • Deliver sustainable revenue growth, market share expansion, and customer value creation
  • Act as the senior commercial leader for the C&S practice locally

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the country-level GTM strategy aligned with global/regional priorities
  • Translate corporate objectives into actionable commercial plans tailored to the German market
  • Identify growth opportunities (new segments, channels, partnerships, offerings)
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory dynamics

Revenue & Performance Management

  • Own full C&S country Order Intake Targets
  • Drive predictable pipeline generation, conversion, and forecasting accuracy
  • Establish and track KPIs across sales, marketing, and customer success
  • Implement rigorous sales governance, reporting, and performance reviews

Sales Execution Excellence

  • Lead direct and/or indirect sales teams (enterprise, mid-market, channel, etc.)
  • Build high-performing sales motions (account-based selling, solution selling, etc.)
  • Optimize sales processes, tools (CRM), and methodologies
  • Ensure strong deal governance and involvement in strategic/key accounts

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Develop and maintain executive relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Represent the company externally (clients, partners, industry forums)
  • Ensure deep understanding of customer needs and local buying behaviors
  • Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion

Marketing & Demand Generation Alignment

  • Align with marketing on localized campaigns, messaging, and brand positioning
  • Ensure demand generation efforts effectively support pipeline growth
  • Adapt global marketing strategies to local market specifics

Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial organization
  • Attract and retain top sales and GTM talent in a competitive labor market
  • Foster a performance-driven, customer-centric culture
  • Drive organizational effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration

Operational & Compliance Oversight

  • Ensure adherence to local (German/EU) legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements
  • Oversee contract governance, pricing strategies, and risk management
  • Maintain strong internal controls and ethical standards

Key Success Metrics

  • Country Target achievement and grow market share
  • Pipeline coverage and conversion rates
