Overview In this Technical Lead role, you guide the validation direction for NVIDIA’s high-speed networking within AI cluster environments. You own the technical roadmap, mentor a team of high-performance engineers, and drive validation at scale. You’ll develop methodologies, automation, and benchmarks to prove network correctness and performance. This position offers hands-on debugging, performance analysis, and collaboration with software and hardware teams to push networking capabilities toward speed-of-light scales. Verantwortungsbereiche Review requirements and design validation methodologies and comprehensive test plans for large-scale networking solutions Develop and maintain benchmarks, automation tools, scripts for test execution, environment setup, and data analysis Lead end-to-end investigation of complex issues by reproducing real-world scenarios, analyzing telemetry and logs, and driving root cause resolution Read and understand C/C++/Python code to investigate defects and improve logging and debugging Collaborate with software and hardware teams to debug networking technologies (NCCL, RoCE, RDMA) Profile AI training/inference workloads to identify scalability and performance limits Document findings and continuously improve validation methodologies and engineering processes Zentrale Anforderungen B.Sc./B.A. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent 8+ years in networking, system validation, or related fields Proven experience debugging complex production systems via hypothesis-driven experiments Ability to read, debug, and reason about C/C++ code (Rust/Go a plus) Strong scripting and automation with Python, Bash, and/or Ansible Deep understanding of distributed systems: concurrency, fault tolerance, large-scale performance under stress Ability to drive technical alignment across teams and make high-quality architectural decisions at speed Experience with AI-driven test automation approaches Leadership and mentoring Strong communication of tradeoffs and decisions Collaborative cross-team work C/C++ (Python, Bash, Ansible) NCCL, RoCE, RDMA AI training/inference workload profiling
