Your mission
We are looking for an ERP Finance Consultant (Freelance) to support the finance workstream during a critical ERP implementation and go-live phase.
- Type: Freelance
- Location: Remote / Hybrid
- Duration: 3-4 months (extension possible)
- Commitment: minimum 30 hours per week
- Start: immediately
Responsibilities
- Lead the finance-related ERP setup and configuration within Odoo
- Configure the accounting environment and ensure compliance with accounting requirements
- Set up and validate accounts, rules, settings and structures
- Execute and validate clean extraction, mapping, and successful data transfer/migration of financial data from DATEV (and Moss) into Odoo, ensuring zero data loss and flawless opening balances
- Design and implement dual accounting structures (HGB, IFRS, US GAAP)
- Test and validate financial transactions and reporting accuracy before the go-live
- Support the ERP go-live activities from a finance perspective
- Provide knowledge transfer and documentation to internal stakeholders
Your profile
- Several years of experience implementing finance ERP systems, including go-live support
- Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP is strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of core accounting and financial reporting processes
- Proven experience supporting ERP go-live projects, ideally in a start-up environment
- Familiar with setting up HGB and IFRS / US GAAP accounting standards
- Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus
