Overview As Embedded Firmware Engineer at NXP in Gratkorn, you will develop and test high-quality firmware for innovative NFC semiconductor solutions. You work within a collaborative team across the full firmware lifecycle, from requirements to verification, production enablement and support. You’ll grow your expertise alongside experienced engineers and help shape firmware processes. This role offers hands-on impact in NFC technology and a chance to contribute to security-related tasks. Leistungen / Benefits home office flexible working time meal benefits and more Verantwortungsbereiche Develop, test, and verify embedded firmware solutions Translate customer and system requirements into firmware implementations Collaborate with senior engineers to define priorities, deliverables, and project plans Write clean, high-quality code and supporting documentation Contribute to improving firmware development processes and workflows Work closely with teammates and stakeholders across different projects Grow expertise in firmware development tools, methodologies, and embedded systems Zentrale Anforderungen University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field Knowledge of embedded software development and software engineering principles Programming skills in C/C++ and/or Rust Experience with Linux, command-line tools, and scripting Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts Knowledge of Python programming Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or SVN English proficiency (written and spoken) Open and collaborative mindset Good organization and effective work routines Curiosity and enthusiasm for solving technical challenges C/C++ programming Rust programming (optional) Linux experience and scripting
