Join NXP\’s growing Artificial Intelligence Competence Center, a leading semiconductor company.Responsibilities include:Identifying, evaluating, and tracking latest technologies for Edge AI optimization software.Enabling optimization techniques such as quantization, pruning, distillation, neural architecture search, etc., for both discriminative AI (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers) and Generative AI (LLMs, Stable Diffusion) at the Edge.Tracking latest AI technologies for radar systems (sensor fusion, advanced sensor functionalities, sensing capabilities).Building demonstrators and proof-of-concepts for Edge AI applications.Addressing data domain generalization gaps over sensors, configurations, and datasets.Applying methods to vision, radar, audio, and other time-series data for Automotive, IoT, and Industrial markets.Collaborating on EU-supported projects with external partners and in NXP’s long-term innovation programs.Your Profile:Master\’s, PhD, or PDEng in a technical field like Computer Science.Over 10 years of software engineering experience with significant AI exposure.Experience with embedded systems, software, and NPU accelerators.Knowledge of embedded software architectures, build systems, and version control.Proficiency with GNU/Linux, embedded systems, development boards, and processors.Excellent English communication skills; experience with multi-site, multicultural teams preferred.Your Competencies:Experience with AI frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).Understanding of AI toolchains, deployment, inference engines (CUDA, TensorRT, TFLite, ONNX).Experience with ML-Ops tools (MLFlow, ClearML).Knowledge of build systems (YOCTO, OpenEmbedded) and cross-compilation for ARM.Programming skills in C, C++, Python, Bash on Linux.Experience with on-device and federated learning is a plus.Interest in future tech like in-memory, analog, neuromorphic computing.More about NXP in Germany… #J-18808-Ljbffr
