Technical Marketing Manager For Metering Segment

We are seeking a Segment Lead for Metering to drive strategy, customer engagement, and solution definition across global electricity and flow metering markets. This role combines deep technical expertise, system-level thinking, and market leadership to strengthen NXP's position in smart metering and expand into next-generation energy intelligence architectures. The successful candidate will operate across: Semiconductor platforms (MCU, MPU, analog, connectivity, security) System solutions (meters, smart panels, gateways) Emerging trends (edge AI, secure infrastructure, cloud connectivity)Alle potenziellen Bewerber sollten die folgenden Angaben zu dieser Stelle sorgfältig lesen, bevor sie sich bewerben.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Business Leadership Define and execute the global strategy for the ISEM Metering segment (electricity + flow)Collaborate across business lines to drive the opportunity pipeline, design wins, and long-term revenue growthPosition NXP to defend core metering share while expanding into next-gen architectures such as smart panels and energy gatewaysAlign segment priorities with overall Power & Energy roadmap and key customersCustomer & Market Engagement Lead engagement with key customers including utilities, OEMs, and system integratorsDrive strategic discussions on evolution of metering architectures such as intelligent edge processing, and secure connectivity to cloud and grid infrastructureTranslate customer and regulatory requirements into system and silicon roadmapsRepresent NXP at customer engagements, industry forums, and executive discussionsSolution, Security & Technology Leadership Define system-level architectures for smart electricity meters, flow meters, smart panels and energy gatewaysDrive adoption of scalable platforms leveraging MCUs / MPUs, analog front ends and metrology, Connectivity (PLC, RF, Wi-Fi, BLE, Thread)Promote platform approaches enabling reusable, certified, secure and scalable solutionsCross-Functional Execution Collaborate across product lines (processing, connectivity, security, analog), system and application engineering teams, sales and marketing organizationsEnable ecosystem partners and ensure scalable global solutions deploymentDrive alignment across siloed teams to accelerate time-to-market and design reuseRequired QualificationsExperience Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent, with 10+ years in semiconductors, energy systems, or industrial marketsProven track record in: Metering, energy management, or utility infrastructureProven track record in: System-level architecture or solution definitionProven track record in: Strategic customer engagementStrong understanding of: Metering architectures (electricity and/or flow)Strong understanding of: Analog sensing and metrology (e.G., precision measurement, ADC-based systems)Strong understanding of: Embedded processing (MCU/MPU)Strong understanding of: Connectivity technologies (PLC, wired, wireless)Familiarity with cybersecurity for embedded systems, including: Hardware-based security (secure elements, root of trust)Familiarity with cybersecurity for embedded systems, including: Cryptographic protocols and secure communicationsFamiliarity with cybersecurity for embedded systems, including: Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) and long-term cryptographic resilience for infrastructure deploymentsLeadership & SkillsStrong strategic thinking and business acumenExcellent communication and executive presentation capabilityAbility to lead and influence across a global, matrix organizationProven ability to translate complex technologies into customer valueThe successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
