Duties

  • Serves as management analyst providing advisory evaluation and liaison services for NAF Accounting between DFAS NFS, USAG?s and IMCOM Europe Finance/Accounting activities.
  • Monitors problems, develops solutions and makes recommendations to ensure optimum performance between DFAS and customers.
  • Gathers pertinent data by: interviewing personnel, researching records, reviewing reports, financial statements, regulations and directives.
  • Coordinates corrective measures with DFAS, fund managers and vendors.
  • Develops and conducts training for USAG managers relating to all aspects of Great Plains, Daily Activity Report submission, accounting document submission and requirements for vendor payments.

  • Knowledge of Nonappropriated Fund accounting and program principles.
  • Knowledge of computers to include software such as electronic spreadsheets, data base programs and graphics.
  • Skill in gathering and analyzing facts and devising solutions to assigned problems.
  • Skill in making oral and written reports and presentations.
  • Skill in effective relationships with others.
