As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our network of experienced trainers and are looking for NEBOSH Trainers to join us on a self-employed contractor basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health & safety professional who has the credentials and wants the freedom of self-employment, while working with a professional training business to deliver learning with a difference.

The Role

As a Self-Employed NEBOSH Trainer, you will deliver high-quality NEBOSH training to learners from organisations across Ireland.

You will be responsible for creating an engaging, professional learning environment and bringing your own practical health & safety experience into the training room.

You will be required to deliver the accrediting bodies compliance needs to ensure the learners are receiving the most up to date and relevant information to achieve the learning outcomes.

Depending on client requirements, training may be delivered in person at client locations, at training venues or virtually.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and professional NEBOSH training to individuals and corporate clients.
• Deliver training in accordance with the relevant NEBOSH syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Plan, and prepare effectively for training sessions.
• Use your practical health & safety experience to bring course content to life.
• Support learners throughout their programme and assist them in preparing for assessments.
• Provide clear, constructive and professional feedback to learners.
• Maintain accurate training and learner records for your CPD and course improvements
• Keep your technical knowledge and understanding of health & safety legislation and best practice up to date.
• Ensure training is delivered to a consistently high standard and propose updates where appropriate
• Represent the company professionally when working with our clients and ensuring an inclusive environment
• Work collaboratively with our internal team while operating to the standards of our trainers charter as an independent self-employed contractor

About You

We are looking for an experienced NEBOSH professional and confident trainer who is passionate about health & safety and enjoys helping others develop their knowledge and competence.

You will ideally have

• Appropriate industry experience, with NEBOSH qualification relevant to the courses you will deliver.
• Strong practical experience within health & safety.
• A recognised training/teaching qualification or substantial training experience would also be highly desirable
• Previous experience delivering NEBOSH training.
• Excellent knowledge of the relevant NEBOSH syllabus and assessment requirements.
• A good understanding of Irish health & safety legislation and regulatory requirements, including the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work framework.
• Knowledge of the role and guidance of the Health and Safety Authority (HSA).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to engage learners from a variety of backgrounds and industries.
• A professional and reliable approach.
• The ability to deliver both face-to-face and online training.
• A genuine passion for developing people and improving workplace health & safety. xayajpt
• Membership of a relevant professional body such as IOSH or another recognised health & safety organisation would be advantageous.
