Location: Münster or Hamburg, Germany

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Controller to act as a strategic business partner to the General Manager, ensuring efficient financial planning, analysis, and decision-making support. Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning & Analysis
2. Develop and maintain controlling tools and financial processes.
3. Conduct regular reporting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
4. Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
5. Business Partnering
6. Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager.
7. Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams.
8. Support data-driven decision-making.
9. Process Improvement
10. Improve financial processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
11. Implement innovative controlling solutions for business growth.
12. Reporting & Compliance
13. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
14. Maintain compliance with internal and external regulations.

Professional Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 4 years in controlling , ideally in a senior or leadership role .

Technical Skills
SQL & Power BI: Must-have for data analysis & reporting .

Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Strong analytical skills with a structured working style .

Languages
German: Fluent (Minimum C1 level mandatory ).

English: Preferred but not mandatory .

Education
University degree preferred , but not required if the candidate has significant relevant experience .

Stable career history – No frequent job changes.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in the IT & Communication Technology industry .

Familiarity with medium-sized enterprises (Mittelstand) .

Understanding of financial analysis in Sales & Marketing .

Salary & Benefits
Base Salary: €60,000+ (final offer based on experience & qualifications).

Bonus: Possible, depending on negotiation & experience .
