We are also one of the leading radiologic academic centers in the Gulf South with support for both pre-clinical and clinical research including innovation with AI and Natural Language processing, benefiting from one PAC’s and RIS System for data mining.

The Emergency Radiology section currently consists of 17 radiologists, most of which are fellowship trained in abdominal imaging, MSK, pediatrics, or neuroradiology.

Responsibilities

• Full time and part time positions available.
• Current shift availability includes time intervals ranging from 5PM until 7AM.
• Duties include coverage of ER and hospital inpatient examinations from Ochsner Main Campus location as well as several Ochsner community hospitals/urgent care centers.
• Ochsner is a multi-disciplinary hospital system and transfer center with active surgical, transplant, cardiac, neurosurgical, MSK and stroke sections.
• Collegial work environment with up to 5-6 radiologists on duty at any given time throughout the night, including residents.
