Responsibilities Develop procurement strategies for logistics, focusing on temperature-controlled road freight for pharmaceutical goods and courier services.
Conduct market sourcing and manage end-to-end RFQ/RFI processes for transportation and warehousing on a global scale, adhering to GxP regulations.
Establish strategies for existing contract logistic vendors, managing 3PL/4PL providers with emphasis on warehouse and last-mile optimization globally.
Drive sustainable optimization of the supplier portfolio and enhance supplier relationship management.
Lead negotiations in an international environment, establishing long‑term global agreements and partnerships.
Ensure supplier compliance with contractual commitments, SLAs and performance targets, proactively identifying risks.
Leverage AI and advanced analytics for market intelligence, supplier evaluation, cost modelling and decision‑making.
Contribute actively to company‑wide cost‑saving targets.
Qualifications University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
3–10 years of experience in transport procurement and strategic logistics sourcing in healthcare environments.
Excellent negotiation skills are mandatory; project management skills are preferred.
Fluent English language skills; German preferred.
Knowledge of pharma business and GxP working environment preferred.
Proficiency in digital sourcing and analytical tools such as Excel, SAP Ariba and Power BI; experience with AI technologies is a strong advantage.
