To take GoodCrowd.org into its next chapter, we need someone who brings both strategic vision and genuinely enjoys hands-on execution. Someone who enjoys building a data-driven strategy just as much as working closely with the team to shape our platform, fine-tune communication details or finalise a new user flow. We are searching for someone who is highly motivated to bring our values to life in all aspects of our platform and strives to grow our social impact with us.
Head of Product & Managing Director (m/f/d)
Start asap / 32-40 hours / unlimited contract / hybrid: in the beautiful office in Berlin-Kreuzberg and remote
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in close collaboration with the team and key stakeholders.
- Develop product-led growth strategies focusing on making crowdfunding campaigns more successful and improving user acquisition.
- Lead and grow a small cross-functional team and create an environment where everyone collaborates effectively and grows professionally.
- Coordinate with gut.org and manage relationships with external partners and freelancers.
- Drive the full product development cycle – from discovery to QA, including UX and user-facing copy.
- Analyse data and leverage user insights to identify opportunities and implement solutions with your team to address them.
- Support branding, marketing, outreach, and campaigning efforts in collaboration with our senior campaigner.
- Contribute to cross-functional areas like customer support, compliance, planning, and forecasting.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience in a leading digital product management role, ideally in a B2C or marketplace environment.
- Experience leading and growing small agile, cross-functional teams.
- Passion for hands-on execution and building, not just delegating.
- Strong understanding of strategy development, product-led growth, and full product lifecycle management.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools like BigQuery, Looker, SQL, and PostHog.
- Solid UX/UI knowledge with the ability to create intuitive user experiences.
- Understanding of software development and enthusiasm for technical discussions.
- A passion for social justice and alignment with anti-discrimination values.
- Fluency in English and German.
