Senior Technical Project Manager R&D In your role, you will lead and coordinate a complex, multi-partner R&D project in the field of electro-optical integration, ensuring structured and goal-oriented execution across technical and organizational interfaces. You will act as a central point of contact between internal teams and external stakeholders, driving alignment across diverse domains such as photonics, packaging, and manufacturing. By interpreting technical results and providing strategic guidance, you will support decision‑making processes, identify development priorities, and contribute to technology roadmaps. In addition, you will help shape future industrialization efforts and strengthen internal capabilities based on project outcomes and technological trends within AT&S.
Your Responsibilities
Lead, guide, and align internal teams and external partners to ensure coherent execution across organizational and technical interfaces
Drive system‑level coordination across multiple technical domains (photonics, packaging, manufacturing), ensuring convergence toward feasible integration solutions
Define, monitor, and continuously refine technical work plans to ensure alignment with project objectives and milestones
Structure complex technical environments by identifying interdependencies and providing clear orientation
Coordinate external partners, suppliers, research organizations, and service providers to support effective project execution
Analyze and interpret technical results within a broader technological and business context
Identify technical gaps, capability needs, and dependencies to support strategic decision‑making and future development
Contribute to the development of internal technology roadmaps and long‑term innovation strategies
Ensure awareness of intellectual property aspects and support coordination with internal IP functions
Support risk identification and evaluation of opportunities beyond the immediate project scope
Your Profile
Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Physics, Electronics, Materials Science, or a comparable technical field
Several years of professional experience (typically 5+ years) in managing complex technical or R&D projects
Proven track record in leading multi‑stakeholder projects involving cross‑functional teams and external partners
Strong ability to understand, structure, and manage dependencies across multiple technical domains
Experience working in international, interdisciplinary environments with strong stakeholder management skills
Ability to analyze technical data, interpret results, and derive actionable insights for further development
Understanding of industrialization processes and the introduction of new technologies into manufacturing
Experience in collaborative or funded R&D projects or industrialization initiatives is an advantage
Basic understanding of intellectual property considerations in R&D environments
Fluent in English
