Shift work and on-call duty Brüggen-Bracht
Oelschläger produces and distributes aluminium products from Brüggen-Bracht in the Lower Rhine region for industrial customers throughout Europe, particularly in the metal, steel and chemical industries. We combine many years of production experience with an international metals network and aim to expand customer relationships and open up new markets outside Europe.

Your responsibilities
- Maintain and repair machinery and equipment in the melting and casting operation.
- Carry out inspections, assemble components and replace wear parts.
- Analyse and rectify mechanical faults, restore operational readiness during downtime.
- Identify maintenance needs and document work carried out.
- Implement modifications and technical improvements together with production and plant management.
- Comply with safety and quality requirements
- Participation in the company on-call service.
What you bring
- Training as a fitter, industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician or comparable qualification.
- Experience in the maintenance of production equipment, ideally in a foundry or an industrial company.
- Knowledge of mechanics and pneumatics, ideally also hydraulics.
- Experience in welding and in general fitting work.
- Independent, reliable and way of working.
- Pronounced safety awareness.
- Physical resilience and willingness to work shifts and on-call duty
- English skills and MS Office experience an advantage.
