Postdoc (f/m/x) in the Mathematical Modeling in Medicine and Life Sciences Group Job ID: RICAM060PD226 The Austrian Academy of Sciences (OeAW), Austria’s leading non-university research and science institution, is offering a Position as Postdoc (f/m/x) in the Mathematical Modeling in Medicine and Life Sciences Group The position is available for a duration of 9 months. Place of employment is Linz. The working language is English. (part-time, 10 h per week) Your Tasks The hired person will work on the development and implementation of mathematical models and numerical algorithms for cardiac Pulsed Field Ablation, in particular related to multiscale time-dependent models. The work will not only include the validation of the algorithms via simulations, but also the development of computing software and its validation with our experimental data. The minimum annual gross salary for this position is EUR 70.167,44 (full-time based), in accordance with the collective agreement of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW). For part-time employment, the salary will be adjusted on a pro rata basis in line with the agreed working hours.
