Intern (m/f/d) Hardware-In-The-Loop Software Engineering
Our guidance, navigation and control department is searching for a motivated Intern (m/f/d) Hardware-In-The-Loop Software Engineering. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.
Your Tasks
- Design, develop and build test platforms to effectively validate Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC) software
- Create software that enables tests to be run in a hardware-in-the-loop (HITL, HIL) environment
- Develop tools for flight data emulation and test data analysis as part of a continuous integration and release system
- Implement DevOps processes to improve the speed and quality of software delivery
- Work at integration and debugging of avionics devices
Your Qualifications
- Current student in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline
- Fluent in spoken and written English (all day-to-day activities will be conducted in English)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomous and challenging environment
- Experience in Python and Bash scripting as well as one of the following languages: C++, Rust, C
- Understanding of CI/CD processes and experience with MATLAB or LabView is considered beneficial
- Understanding of network-based communication protocols and associated debugging tools
- Ability to work hands-on with avionics and IT hardware
