Intern (m/f/d) Rocket Test Software Engineering, LabVIEW

Are you passionate about aerospace technology and eager to dive deeper into software development? Our international and agile team is searching for a motivated person to work as an Intern (m/w/d) specializing in Rocket Test Software Engineering with expertise in NI LabVIEW. You enjoy working in a dedicated, dynamic and international environment that aims for high-performance engineering solutions in aerospace technology? Then apply for us.

Your Tasks

  • Assist in developing and refining software codebases for testing, launching, and monitoring our launch vehicle, RFA ONE.
  • Support the configuration and optimization of automated testing and deployment systems.
  • Provide technical support during testing activities in mission control settings.
  • Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of DAQ/LabVIEW systems controlling launch pads and test sites.
  • Collaborate with senior software engineers, electrical engineers, test engineers, and IT professionals to develop hardware and network solutions for test stand data and control requirements.
  • Support in troubleshooting and resolving software issues encountered during active test stands.
  • Participate in all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and integration into test stands.

Your Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated practical experience with LabVIEW.
  • Familiarity with at least one of the following languages: Python, C, C++, or Matlab/Simulink.
  • Proficient oral and written English skills (as all day-to-day activities are conducted in English).
  • Experience with electronics, Linux, Git, and networking is a plus.
