For permanent employment OHB System AG in Bremen is looking for a Systems Engineer for Telecommunication Missions (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

• Support System Engineering Manager in the definition of the satellite architecture
• Work in collaboration with Architects and Subsystem Engineers
• Support in the configuration and management of the satellite internal and external interfaces (e.g. launcher interfaces)
• Perform analyses of satellite functional and interface requirements
• Support spacecraft validation and verification on system level
• Flow down of the satellite requirements to subsystem level specifications
• Ensure compliance to the satellite technical requirements
• Coordination of the technical system budgets (electrical power, propellant, telemetry, command, pointing, mass properties)
• Support the generation the AIT plans and operation plans
• Oversee satellite test preparation and evaluate test resultsDefine Test Specifications for System Level Tests and Verification campaigns
• Support the set‑up and maintenance of spacecraft data bases and simulators
• Prepare for launch and flight phases, including preparation of launcher interfaces and for operations data
• Contribute to project risk management

Your Qualifications

• Master degree in engineering, physics or aerospace engineering or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in satellite in studies (phase A/B), proposal and implementation projects (phase B2/C/D)
• Experience in technical negotiations with the customer
• Self‑managed and pro‑active working style
• Ability to work with and implement processes
• Ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge of English and German
