QA Inspector (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Support and witness Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT) activities in ISO 5 / ISO 8 cleanroom environments, including verification of the correct application of procedures and processes
• Perform hardware inspections and validation activities in the context of integration operations
• Verify test setups in the frame of test activities
• Support and witness AIT operational activities during test campaigns and launch campaigns, including activities at external facilities
• Handle high-precision components safely, carefully, and professionally
• Raise and process anomaly reports and/or Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) in the AIT environment
• Create, maintain, and manage documentation related to hardware inspections, including inspection reports and supplier documentation in the company database
• Coordinate closely with AIT, Engineering, and Product Assurance
• Support additional department-related development tasks as assigned

Your Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline, or completed technical training in mechanics (e.g. precision mechanics, optics), or at least 3 years of professional experience in the aeronautics or aerospace industry, preferably in Quality or AIT
• Structured and precise working style with strong motivation and commitment to project quality
• Strong communication skills, particularly in international project environments
• Proficient written and spoken English and German

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of tools such as Jira and SAP
• Experience working with procedures and detailed reporting
• Experience working in a fully digital environment
• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
• Good knowledge of ECSS‑Q‑ST‑20C Rev.2 – Quality Assurance
• Good knowledge of ECSS‑Q‑ST‑70C Rev.2 – Materials, Mechanical Parts and Processes
• Advanced knowledge of SAP
