AIT Operator (m/w/d)
To strengthen our AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) department at our Oberpfaffenhofen site, we are looking for a motivated AIT Mechanic / Operator. In this role, you will support our mechanical AIT team in the integration and testing of spaceflight instruments, primarily conducted in a cleanroom environment. You will independently perform integration and measurement tasks as part of planned AIT activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for the preparation, execution, and documentation of these activities.
Your Tasks
Independently prepare integration and test activities
Carry out mechanical integration and test processes in ISO 5 and ISO 8 cleanrooms
Handle tools, measurement, and test equipment professionally
Create and maintain AIT documentation, including AIT procedures, log sheets, and test reports
Coordinate and collaborate with quality control and other specialist departments
Conduct inspections, maintain activity records, and create issue reports
Support test campaigns at external test facilities (business travel required)
Assist with 3D (CMM) measurement activities
Your Qualifications
Completed vocational training in a technical field, such as industrial mechanics, precision mechanics, aircraft mechanics, or metrology, preferably with experience in the space industry
Practical experience as an AIT operator, in prototype assembly, or a similar field
Structured working approach, high motivation, and strong project commitment
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a goal-oriented mindset
Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment
Experience in 3D (CMM) measurements
Good English skills
