We – MT Aerospace – are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. As a leading international aerospace company, we develop, manufacture and test essential components for launcher programs such as Ariane, the U.S. Space Launch System (SLS) as well as commercial launcher systems, the Airbus fleet, spacecrafts, satellites and defense applications. Your Tasks

• You will be involved in the development of satellite tanks and space structures
• You will familiarize yourself with finite element software
• You will perform static and dynamic FE calculations with parameter investigations
• You will further develop internal calculation tools and perform fracture mechanics analyses
• You will evaluate calculation results, interpret them, and document or present them in an appropriate form

Your Qualifications

• Current studies in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Good knowledge of technical mechanics desirable
• Ideally, initial experience in using finite element software (Abaqus)
• Ideally, initial experience in creating scripts (Python)
• Confident use of MS Office applications
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
