We – MT Aerospace – are part of the OHB Space and Technology Group. Your Tasks

• You are responsible for strategic purchasing for all direct material and service procurement groups. The team is made up of 5 employees, all of whom are based in Augsburg.
• You realize the early cross-functional integration of the purchasing function in technical sales, in the research & development process and in make-or-buy decisions
• You will optimize the global purchasing strategy, create material price planning and further develop KPI-based purchasing controlling
• You monitor and optimize the global purchasing volume, coordinate potential savings and develop benchmarks
• You will further develop the lead buyer concepts for the most important product groups, support supplier development and take on interface work
• You will play a leading role in the implementation of SAP S/4HANA

Your Qualifications

• Graduate degree (TH/FH) in the field of economics or engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of relevant purchasing management methods ( supplier relationship management, material and supplier portfolio analysis, global sourcing, e-procurement, game theory, etc.)
• Ability to holistically assess the dimensions of product, technical specification, quality and costs
• Good communication skills and interest in expanding your own network
• Experience with global supplier markets, ideally in the aerospace industry
• Leadership experience, strong decision-making and implementation skills and willingness to travel internationally
• Business fluent in German and English, further foreign language skills desirable
