We are looking for a Sales Manager (f/m/d) based in Berlin to join the Sales Central Region. The Sales Manager is responsible for promoting sales and business development, especially in Germany, together with a team of highly motivated people based in different European locations.
Responsibilities
- Leadership throughout the sales cycle: From prospect identification, tendering, and deal optimization to negotiation and closure of wind farm supply contracts
- Establish solid customer relationships, build trust, and understand the customers‘ business case to develop ideal value propositions
- Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization and across group functions
- Monitor and assess market trends and customer/competitor activities
- Handle internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of Vestas commercial strategy
Qualifications
- Master’s in Business or Engineering degree or equivalent
- Solid experience in sales, commercial sales or business development, e.g. with a proven history in the renewable energy or other project sector
- Contract negotiation skills and experience with complex technical contracts
- Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English
