To strengthen our client’s team, we are looking for a 5-Axis CNC Setter-Mechanic with the following profile
5-Axis CNC Setter-Mechanic
-CFC in micromechanics / polymechanics or equivalent training -Minimum 5 years of CNC setting experience in a high-precision environment (watchmaking, medical, micromechanics) -Essential mastery of 3 and 5 axis CNC centres -Excellent knowledge of Willemin-Macodel / Chiron / Robodrill machines -Confidence in milling complex parts with tight tolerances -Proficient in reading plans and dimensional control (manual & optical) -Autonomous, precise, rigorous, curious -Analytical mindset, continuous improvement spirit (5S) and good team spirit Prepare, set up and put into production parts on 3 and 5 axis CNC centres (Willemin-Macodel 408B - Fanuc / Chiron - Fanuc & Siemens / Robodrill - Fanuc). Prepare tooling, optimise settings and ensure perfect quality from the first part. Read and interpret technical drawings, manufacturing sequences and quality specifications. Manufacture specific fixtures for machining. Produce small series and single high-precision parts. Ensure self-inspection using common measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, gauges, Marcel-Aubert). Work closely with Quality Control and Production teams. Occasionally operate Bumotec S92, Crevoisier and BC Technology machines (mechanical engraving). Propose continuous improvements to optimise setting times and quality.
