Industrial Project Manager

Digital Project Manager PX Group comprises about ten companies specializing in high-quality customized semi-finished products for the watchmaking, industrial, medical, and cutting tool sectors.

With a strong family identity, we foster autonomy and, in an environment of growth for our Methods & Engineering teams at PX Précinox and PX Précimet, composed of 7 people at each site, we are looking for a Digital Project Manager.

You are autonomous, curious, and have a good sense of analysis in order to work with multidisciplinary teams.

You have a proactive approach and are a driving force for proposals.

Your impact:- Carry out digital simulations on Coldform X.- Work in close collaboration with business experts with the aim of reducing the time and costs of developing new products in production.- Verify simulation results with reality in production (filling, defects, tool durability, etc.), analyze and understand the discrepancies in order to better bridge them (impact of various external factors on simulations and reality: friction / mechanical properties of the deformed material and those of the tools, etc.).- Make rolling or drawing ranges reliable and optimized within the framework of cost reduction (Lean manufacturing).- Optimize the service life of tools through simulations of the X shape and ranges (work hardening per pass).- Write a simulation guide intended for business experts.- Train business experts in simulation.

Make the difference if:- You hold a scientific degree at the Bachelor / Master level in materials science.- You have initial experience in an academic or professional environment in the field of plastic deformation (cold forming is a plus).- You master the digital simulation of forming processes (ideally with the Coldform X software or comparable simulation software).- You have a good understanding of the phenomena induced by plastic deformation (cold forming is a plus) and heat treatments at the mechanical and metallurgical level for steels (alloys based on titanium, nickel, cobalt, and gold are a plus).- You are fluent in French and English, both orally and in writing.
