Structural Steel Drafter

For one of our clients, we are looking for a metal construction drafter. You will work in close cooperation with all departments and management to ensure the quality of the deliverables, compliance with current standards, as well as the proper functioning of the metal construction department.PROFILEExperience (5 years) in the field of metal construction drafting.Technical training in metal construction drafting required (CFC or equivalent) and in-depth knowledge of specific CAD and CAM tools such as TopSolid and AutoCAD.Mastery of plan reading and descriptive geometry.Analytical and organizational skills.Ease and aptitude for teamwork.Rigor and synthesis skills.Ability to make technical proposals and take initiatives.Good management of stress and priorities.MISSIONSAnalyze tender documents, quotes, and architectural plans. If necessary, study site conditions in the field, take measurements, make sketches, and draft outlines.Develop drawings of the structure (manufacturing and assembly) using computer-aided design.Detail plans and diagrams with precision, indicating dimensions, choice of materials, and machining methods.Draw up the order list for necessary materials and transmit files to the purchasing department.Manage supplier orders for ongoing projects.Actively participate in the interface between the design office, production, and installation.Pass on knowledge and experience.With the project manager:- Assist in monitoring, execution, and communication actions with clients and installers.- Attend site meetings if necessary with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other building professionals.- Control assembly plans and verify the quality of work performed. jidf54d3c6aen jit0728aen jpiy26aen
