Head of Insurance Product – Contract
Oliver James is partnering with an insurance client located in Germany to help them to find a Head of Insurance Products to oversee the management, development and optimisation of their personal lines insurance products on an initial temporary contract.
The role offers competitive daily rates, flexible work from home arrangements and the opportunity for a future permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and management of personal lines insurance products across all stages, from definition to market launch
- Oversee the optimisation and continuous improvement of existing insurance products to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Manage and guide cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and pricing, to ensure seamless product development and delivery
- Ensure compliance with relevant German insurance regulations and guidelines throughout the product life-cycle
- Manage product pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness and profitability
Requirements
- Proven experience leading insurance product teams and managing personal lines products
- Strong knowledge of insurance product pricing and strategy
- In-depth understanding of German insurance regulations and market guidelines
- Fluent in both English and German, with excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership and team management skills
Start Date: March 2025
Location: Northern Germany
Contract Duration: 6-month initial contract, with potential for extension or internalisation
