Senior SAP BW/BPC Consultant

Budget: 120 CHF per hour
We are supporting a client within the public administration sector who is looking for an experienced Senior SAP BW Consultant to support their SAP data warehousing and planning environment.
This is a senior-level role suited to someone who can operate confidently as a consultant and subject matter expert, contributing to the design, development and optimisation of SAP BW and planning solutions rather than focusing purely on operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide senior-level expertise across SAP BW / BW/4HANA environments.
- Design, develop and optimise BW data models and data flows.
- Work hands-on with BPC Embedded and SAP planning functionality.
- Develop and maintain data flows, transformations and DTPs.
- Work with ADSO and CompositeProvider modelling.
- Develop and optimise SAP BW queries and reporting solutions.
- Support the design and implementation of planning applications and integrated planning solutions.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective SAP BW and planning solutions.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
- Contribute expert knowledge and guidance across the SAP BW/BPC landscape.
Required Experience
- Native or C1/2 German language
- Significant experience as a Senior SAP BW Consultant / SAP BW Expert.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP BW, ideally BW/4HANA.
- Strong practical knowledge of BPC Embedded.
- Experience with SAP HANA and BW modelling.
Desirable Experience
- ABAP for BW.
- SAP FI/CO knowledge.
- Experience with financial planning and controlling processes.
- Understanding of project planning.
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- SAFe experience (Agile and SAFe experience would be considered advantageous but are not essential)
