As they continue to grow and innovate, they\’re looking for a skilled Database Developer with a strong background in Oracle PL/SQL to join their technology team . This is an exciting opportunity to work on data-driven projects that support the development of critical systems, enabling the company to offer better services to its customers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects to support core business applications within the insurance sector.
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and scalability for critical systems used by internal teams and customers.
Support the integration of various data sources and ensure smooth data flow across platforms and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, business analysts, and operations) to gather requirements and implement effective database solutions.
Work on data migration and database upgrade projects to enhance the company\’s infrastructure.
Troubleshoot database issues and proactively identify opportunities for performance enhancements.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Oracle SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and performance tuning.
Familiarity with PL/SQL and best practices in data modelling and database architecture.
Experience working with insurance systems or other regulated environments (a plus, but not mandatory).
Strong attention to data quality, reliability, and security in a regulated environment.
Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
A proactive mindset with a focus on clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
