Drive DACH market expansion for cutting-edge Bluetooth Low Energy and ultra-low-power electronic modules — as a business builder, not just a salesperson. Our client is an established semiconductor company specialising in ultra-low-power, low-voltage integrated circuits and electronic modules, operating internationally within a larger industrial group. Its BLE and ultra-low-power solutions enable next-generation asset tracking, localization, identification and IoT connectivity across sectors such as logistics, warehousing, avionics, healthcare, hospitality and large-enterprise environments. To accelerate growth across the DACH region, it is looking for an entrepreneurial, technically minded Senior Business Development Manager — a high-energy professional who combines strategic vision with hands-on field execution, building customer relationships, spotting market opportunities and turning technical innovation into commercial success. Your Responsibilities
Develop and execute the DACH business-development strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth in line with Business Unit targets. Own the full sales cycle, identify and win new opportunities within target verticals, build strong relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors and strategic partners, and maintain a strong field presence including trade fairs and C-level customer engagement. Lead complex commercial negotiations and drive execution of development contracts across internal and external stakeholders (R&D, legal, quality, logistics). Work closely with Product Management and Development to feed market intelligence into the product roadmap, collaborate with Marketing on positioning and campaigns, interface with Account Managers, and support onboarding and mentoring of future sales talent as the organisation grows. Act as a subject-matter expert on BLE and ultra-low-power technologies, supporting customers through evaluation and early project phases. What You’ll Bring
10+ years' proven experience selling electronic components, modules or IoT solutions. A strong background in business development within technical B2B environments. Excellent market knowledge across verticals such as logistics, healthcare, industrial automation or enterprise IoT. A good understanding of wireless technologies, ideally Bluetooth Low Energy and ultra-low-power applications. Proven experience navigating the DACH business culture and commercial landscape. Experience drafting and managing complex commercial/development contracts. A genuine "hunter" mindset — self-driven, autonomous, entrepreneurial, with sharp commercial instinct, strong networking and negotiation skills, and a bias for building new revenue over grooming legacy accounts. A Bachelor's degree or above. Fluent English (essential) and fluent/professional German (essential); French a bonus. Already holding the right to work in Switzerland — the client does not accept applications requiring any work-/residence-permit procedures. What’s On Offer
