The position: PM Software, Solution Portfolio Mechanical & Structural TestingWe are currently looking for a Product Manager for Data Acquisition (DAQ) Software within Mechanical & Structural (M&S) Testing Solution Portfolio to join our Global Product Management organization. The Product Manager reports to the Head of Solution Portfolio M&S.In this role, you will be responsible for defining the value to be delivered for specific products and/or releases. By owning the portfolio & roadmap and defining the business value you will serve a high potential area of technology. You will work in a dynamic and motivated team closely together with customers and key stakeholders across Product Management, Sales, Operations and R&D to ensure HBK remains at the forefront of innovation in the short, mid and long term.This role is well suited to an experienced profile who is used to managing a complex product portfolio and driving continued business growth. You will be granted the autonomy to have a true impact on the commercial direction of HBK,. The role is based in Darmstadt, Germany with the possibility to occasionally work remotely or Home Office based.**About HBK Primary Responsibilities** • Developing market by identifying potential products; growing close to customers; conducting market research; generating product requirements;determining specifications, defining the pricing and licensing strategy • New product introduction setting objectives, priorities and execution • Contributing to the P&L of the product line • Defining the value to be delivered for specific products or releases • Gather Input from internal and external stakeholders for defining the product line roadmap • Full ownership of business case development • Lifecycle management within the product line • Competitor analysis and benchmarking • Promotion calendar and context coordination with marketing communications • Working closely with product owners and R&D to set the direction of development Professional qualifications The ideal candidate holds the following qualifications: • Extensive experience within a similar role in Product Management, Commercial, Engineering etc. • Engineering knowledge and ability to discuss with subject matter experts • Previous experience working on an international and ideally global scale • Background in test & measurement or metrology is a plus**Personal Skills** • Strong communication skills to both internal and external stakeholders • Solution driven attitude with a creative mindset • Strong focus on value creation • Ambition to reach goals within a strong team • Very high level of integrity in everything you do ## **We Offer**At HBK, we believe in freedom with responsibility.
