In this senior role, you will lead a team of 10–15 Cluster Release Managers and Release Coordinators and ensure effective coordination across the programme. /p pWorking with stakeholders at all levels, you will bring structure to complexity, manage competing priorities and help ensure successful delivery across the programme. /p h3Your new challenge /h3 ul liLead a team of 10–15 Cluster Release Managers and Release Coordinators and deputise for the Programme Release Manager /li liDefine and adapt Release Management processes to programme needs, including coordination across 25 simultaneously delivering projects /li liDevelop and maintain an integrated release plan covering timelines, dependencies, risks and environment availability /li liCoordinate releases across multiple projects and suppliers, ensuring alignment with enterprise Change Management and exercising veto authority over environment deployments /li liChair regular release coordination and steering meetings to track progress, resolve blockers and manage risks /li liEnsure end-to-end traceability from requirements and design through development and testing to defects and deployments using JIRA, Confluence or similar tools /li liManage release dependencies and risks and oversee the staging and promotion of code and configuration changes in close collaboration with Environment Management /li liMonitor release performance through KPIs including defect leakage, regression pass rates, rollbacks and deployment success /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 ul liUniversity degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field /li liAt least 15 years of IT project delivery experience within complex banking or financial services environments with 500–1,000 applications across multiple booking centres /li liProven experience as a Senior or Programme Release Manager in large-scale transformation programmes /li liExperience adapting Release Management processes to programme requirements /li liHands‑on experience managing multi-project release trains across SIT and UAT in regulated environments /li liStrong understanding of banking system landscapes and Private Banking products, ideally within Wealth Management /li liStrong knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, SAFe and hybrid models /li liExperience with Release Management and ALM tools such as JIRA /li liPragmatic, solution‑driven and results‑oriented approach with strong attention to detail /li liExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills across technical, business and Senior Management audiences /li liHigh emotional intelligence and the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a complex matrix organisation /li liAbility to work autonomously under pressure and meet tight deadlines /li liExcellent written and spoken English; German or other languages are an advantage /li liHigh commitment to programme success and willingness to work weekends when required /li /ul h3What you can look forward to /h3 ul liA responsible leadership role with direct impact on a major banking programme /li liCollaboration with an experienced team with strong banking expertise /li liFlat hierarchies, short decision‑making processes and genuine scope for initiative /li liFive days per week based in our Zurich office /li liA transparent career model focused on your functional, technical and personal strengths /li liRole‑specific training and development opportunities /li liThe opportunity to actively contribute to the growth of ON-POINT Connect /li liAttractive compensation, company health benefits and options for sabbatical or unpaid leave /li liRegular employee, team and client events /li /ul pDoes this sound like a challenge you would like to take on? /p pbON-POINT Connect /b is a dynamic consulting boutique in Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
