Overview
In this role you will oversee third-party risk for a bank’s procurement function, leading due diligence and onboarding of suppliers, and ensuring ongoing compliance across the supplier portfolio. You will collaborate with business partners to assess risks, report findings, and help enhance risk-management policies. The position sits within a procurement team in Zurich, offering impact across governance, controls, and supplier lifecycle management. This is an opportunity to shape risk programs for a global financial client in a consultative setting.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead third-party due diligence and onboarding for new suppliers
- Assess and manage risks in existing and new supplier relationships
- Monitor supplier compliance and lifecycle, including offboarding
- Perform targeted risk assessments in collaboration with business partners
- Escalate high/medium risk findings to the third-party risk committee
- Develop measures to improve third-party risk management policies and procedures
- Create communication/escalation plans for third-party risk events
- Ensure compliance with risk guidelines in coordination with Legal and Compliance and business units
- Carefully manage data, documentation, and system-related records relating to third parties
- Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines in cooperation with related departments
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's in Finance or Engineering
- First professional experience in banking, Big Four, or consultancy with international projects
- Knowledge of third-party and supply-chain processes from banking, internal audit, risk management, or outsourcing/third-party risk management
- Analytical, stakeholder-influencing abilities
- Team orientation and strong communication skills
- Interest in analyzing processes, data sets, and control environments
