Join us at the heart of the revolution. As a hands‑on engineer in our LightSpray production sites, you will be the critical link between engineering and live operations. You will manage a growing production system, ensuring this disruptive technology is robust, repeatable, and ready to change the industry forever. As the Senior Lead Process Engineer, your mission is to manage processes for novel manufacturing technologies. You will ensure the proper design of experiments, validation, and rollout of these processes, systematically assessing results using a data‑driven approach. You will manage a team of engineers and collaborate with key stakeholders to drive successful process implementation.
Your mission
Lead Data‑Driven Process Industrialization: Design, execute, and systematically qualify experimental designs (DoE) and process validation protocols, focusing on ensuring repeatability, robustness, and immediate scalability for high‑volume manufacturing.
Serve as Deep Technical Expert & Troubleshooter: Act as the senior point of contact for complex material processing challenges, machine parameters, and product requirements. Perform and direct root‑cause analysis (RCA) to resolve critical process deviations in production and development.
Drive Technical Team Leadership & Strategy: Lead, mentor, and coordinate a multidisciplinary team of process, materials, and automation experts, setting technical roadmaps and ensuring alignment on project priorities from lab to factory. Contribute to defining technology and long‑term handover strategies for innovation developments.
Oversee Continuous Improvement & Global Deployment: Partner closely with global production sites to lead machine readiness, industrialize new production workstreams, and translate factory process feedback into engineering improvements and product optimization initiatives.
Bridging Innovation to Production: Lead process‑related responsibility in multidisciplinary innovation projects, enabling new concepts and bridging innovation on material and process level to production.
Your story
Educational Background: Engineering or Material Science background
6+ Years of Industry Experience: Proven track record in implementing novel processes and deep expertise in thermoplastic polymer processing, injection molding, or extrusion.
Industrial and Global Expertise: Deep, hands‑on experience in executing experiments, validating processes, and critically, a proven track record of on‑site troubleshooting and SOP development at Tier 1 production sites.
Technical Leadership & Entrepreneurial Mindset: Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams of engineers, defining technology handovers, setting technical roadmaps from research to scalable, production‑ready systems, and coordinating international collaboration efforts.
