We are looking for a Partner:in (m/w/d) who identifies with most of the following:

What the role is about

• You will build and own your own book of business – winning relevant new clients with credible access on C-level
• You will turn strong first engagements into larger, long-term client relationships, systematically growing strategic accounts
• You will be steering our delivery and consulting teams to measurable business value from use cases to real AI-first transformation
• You will be the client partner for a squad of engineers, consultants and project leads and ensure quality, growing value and excellent staff
• You will sharpen our offering, pricing, and commercial steering along the AI value chain, protecting margin, quality, and client relationship at the same time
• You will grow the impact of people around you developing talent and multiplying your effect beyond your own contribution
• You will be part of our senior executive team, working hand in hand with our founder, managing director and senior leaders to steer One Thousand towards impact across Europe
• You will represent One Thousand credibly in the market, (e.g. during executive dinners, as a conference speaker) translating our AI expertise into real relevance externally
• You will be working not only with large corporates, but also help powering the "Mittelstand," with particular depth in mechanical and plant engineering, manufacturing, metal and pipes, retail and commodity trading, media and publishing, medical technology, and energy
• You will have the chance to fully be yourself and will be embraced if you respect the others :-)

What you bring

• Winning business, personally: You have a proven, quantifiable track record of personally originating relevant business over the past three years – with clear numbers on revenue, margin, deal size, sales cycle, and your own share in it.
• C-level access: You can name concrete relationships you could credibly activate today, and you know why it would be you who opens that door.
• Industry depth: You bring real network and credibility in one or more of our core industries – mechanical and plant engineering, manufacturing, metal and pipes, retail and commodity trading, media and publishing, medical technology, or energy.
• Growing accounts strategically: You have multiple examples where you have taken a first engagement with a client and systematically developed it into a larger, recurring partnership.
• Owning delivery end-to-end: You can walk us through a mandate from business goal to productive solution, with a clear personal contribution at the critical moments
• Thinking commercially: You know when to deliberately not sell, or reshape a project, in order to protect margin, quality, or the relationship – you own your P&L contribution
• Leading people: You have visibly made someone else bigger, and it shows in how you develop talent and multiply impact through others, not just through yourself.
• Being dedicated: You fully support the team to reach our goals in a result-oriented way of working while fostering a culture of caring.
• Dealing with ambiguity: Even if some challenges are vaguely defined, you make sense of what needs to be done. See it. Say it. Sort it!
• Ability to communicate in German and English with level C1 or higher.
• Openness to travel to clients and across our Berlin, Düsseldorf, and Zürich locations as the role requires.
