To strengthen our Service team we are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual with with a high level of organization and the willigness to travel from time to time!
The Field Service Specialist will install, maintain, repair and support instruments on all levels Hardware, Software and Applications.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals living in and around Darmstadt/Frankfurt, Hessen Area.
Primary Responsibilities
  1. Install, maintain, repair and support instruments on all levels HW, SW and applications
  2. Maintain and develop positive relationships with customers
  3. Assist in the development and maintenance of reference customers
  4. Assist in meeting/exceeding sales targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction
  5. Actively promote and sell Field Service products
  6. Utilize the oneservice Mobile Solution to input and provide information that will increase effectiveness
  7. Utilize all available tools such as Service Reports, Spare Part & Service Manuals, Partner Service Information, internal service information etc.
  8. Give active feedback to Sales, Global Product Support and your team/management
  9. Manage effective available time and resources
  10. Provide cross-border/district/region support when required
  11. Positively represent oneservice in front of the customer, be a good example!
  12. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Primary Position Requirements
Education:
  1. Technical and/or Scientific degree/education in Electronics, Engineering or Life Sciences and reasonable product knowledge within the Life Science, Diagnostics or Medical Equipment industry /markets preferable, Automation experience
Experience:
  1. Min of 3 years’ service and support experience in a comparable position within the after-sales service business in the Life Science, Diagnostics or Medical Equipment industry/markets, or equivalent experience maintaining instrumentation in the above fields
  2. Experience in NGS or Seqencing a great plus
  3. Proven work experience in developing customer relationships
  4. Minimum commercial skills
  5. Valid driver’s license and Passport and willingness to travel, national and internationally
Interpersonal skills:
  1. Good written and verbal German language communication skills is a must!
  2. Good written and verbal English language communication skills
  3. Good interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work both independently and in a structured working environment
  5. Supervisory Responsibilities: Does not supervise employees
Travel:
  1. Travel required (in the field)
  2. Position is field based
