Position Summary
- VCxray Inspection Services is seeking a full-time NDT Inspector / Materials Tester specializing in Penetrant Testing (PT) at its Sinsheim location.
The position is responsible for supporting quality assurance by reliably inspecting components for surface defects and ensuring that customer quality and safety requirements are met.
- The role focuses on Penetrant Testing (PT) and involves preparing inspection surfaces, performing the required inspection steps, identifying and evaluating indications, documenting results, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards, customer specifications, and internal inspection instructions.
- The position is offered on a full-time basis with 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Perform Penetrant Testing (PT) on components and parts.
- Prepare surfaces for inspection and properly perform the individual inspection steps.
- Identify, interpret, and evaluate indications and surface irregularities according to applicable inspection requirements.
- Document inspection results and prepare inspection reports.
- Conduct inspections in accordance with applicable standards, customer specifications, and internal inspection instructions.
- Ensure the proper handling and operational readiness of inspection equipment and testing materials.
- Comply with quality, safety, and workplace standards.
- Coordinate with colleagues and project managers regarding inspection-related matters.
Qualifications
Completed technical or skilled-trade vocational training, such as
- Materials Tester
- Industrial Mechanic
- Welder
- Metalworker
- Or a comparable qualification
- Qualification or certification in Penetrant Testing (PT) according to DIN EN ISO 9712; Level 2 is preferred.
- Practical experience in NDT, particularly Penetrant Testing, is desirable.
- Additional qualifications in other NDT methods are an advantage.
- Confident handling of technical documents, inspection instructions, and inspection requirements.
- Strong quality awareness and a careful, conscientious approach to work.
- High level of responsibility and reliability.
- Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken.

- Class B driver's license is preferred.
