Location: Stans, Switzerland Model: Fully Onsite Scope: Full Time - Employed Description Lead the development of advanced composite structures for aerospace applications, overseeing design, structural analysis, certification, and product development activities. This role provides technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-performance composite solutions are delivered in compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements while supporting innovation, manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Lead the development of composite structures from requirements definition through certification and in-service support. Oversee the design, structural analysis, and evaluation of composite components, ensuring compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements. Work closely with design, manufacturing, materials, testing, certification, and program teams to deliver composite structure solutions. Provide technical leadership for new development, modification, and continuous improvement projects. Track project schedules, budgets, risks, and technical progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Support the evaluation and implementation of new materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods. Coordinate technical activities with suppliers and external partners. Qualifications Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in composite structures design, development, analysis, and certification. Strong knowledge of composite structural engineering, including design, analysis, testing, manufacturing, and certification. Experience leading engineering teams and coordinating cross-functional projects. Familiarity with the full product development lifecycle, from requirements and structural sizing through validation and certification. Solid understanding of composite materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-manufacturing principles. Knowledge of aerospace certification requirements and industry standards related to composite structures. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
