Overview
As an Applications Engineer, you apply Onto Innovation’s AOI, Critical Dimension/Overlay, and 2D/3D inspection products to customer manufacturing processes. You will travel to sites to troubleshoot, evaluate performance, and implement new features, while also training customers to maximize product value. You’ll support the account team with technical direction to drive sales and service opportunities. Expect cross-region collaboration and impactful work at the intersection of technology and customer success.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to customers
- Provide on-site and remote applications support
- Help customers solve process and tool-related issues
- Support the Applications Lab with test plans and execution
- Interface with customers and internal teams to define equipment specs
- Collaborate with Field Service Engineers on tool installation and customer training
- Report experimental results and provide interpretation
- Assist in designing/upgrading equipment to meet customer needs
- Apply strong problem-solving to customer issues
- Build strong customer relationships and develop commercial awareness to feed opportunities to sales
- Collect and relay market/competitive feedback to reinforce Onto’s position
- Travel up to 60% domestically and internationally for cross-regional support
- Work in Ireland (Dublin) for 6-9 months
