Key skills for the Verification Design Engineer position include:

1. Experience in UVM-based verification.
2. Experience developing and maintaining test benches.
3. Knowledge of hardware description languages (e.g., Verilog, SystemVerilog).
4. Experience working on memory projects is a benefit, but not required.
