Overview The Opportunity: In this role, you will focus on data‑related sales opportunities. You will be an individual contributor with broad responsibilities to develop and manage a growing book of business across your assigned region. You will drive business and technical relationships, close business quickly by defining and identifying key opportunities, markets, contract vehicles and solutions. This role will support Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. You will establish deep business and technical relationships through your knowledge of the customer’s mission and environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical sales, a business background that enables them to drive customer engagement at the executive level, and a technical background that enables them to communicate product details to technical contacts.
Key Responsibilities
Drive revenue and market share in the assigned region
Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan
Create and articulate compelling value propositions around data services
Accelerate customer adoption
Maintain a robust sales pipeline
Facilitate contract negotiations
Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts
Ensure customer satisfaction
Moderate travel for in‑person client meetings
Drive product innovation through a thorough understanding of customer and industry trends to ensure a powerful, differentiated value proposition
Job Qualifications
5–10 years of enterprise‑level technology‑related sales or business development experience
Fluency in German and English is a must
Experience selling nascent products/services into new markets is strongly desired
Familiarity with internet, cellular and broadband technology and infrastructure
Self‑motivated with a track record of urgency and follow‑through
Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions‑focused approach
Strong verbal and written communication skills with clients and internal audiences, able to communicate across all organizational levels
Knowledge and expertise with product offerings, including licensing, data, awards and advertising products, or similar products
Ability to travel regularly to meet clients and attend corporate and team functions
Global business experience a plus, with a focus on defining and growing new markets
B.A./B.S. degree or equivalent; master’s degree or international business education a plus

Compensation Range Base pay for this role is €130,000 – €140,000, with additional compensation based on experience, scope of the role, capabilities, education, training and company performance.
