As Team Lead IT Project Management, you own the performance and development of the IT project management team within our Customer Success organization. Your team coordinates the implementation of our global network security solutions across international organizations, and you lead the project managers who deliver it. Within project governance, you step in directly on escalations. Open Systems configures, ships and installs the required Service Delivery Platform in all of the client's locations and offers lines for on-site connectivity.
Beyond delivery, you own how project management works as a discipline inside the CCO organization and the development of the project managers themselves.
On a customer escalation, you protect two things at once: the customer relationship, and your own team, absorbing pressure so your project managers can deliver - while holding the company's position where it counts.
We are looking for a strong leader who:
- Has a clear bias for action and the energy to lift the team around them
- Steps up toward customers and internally and knows when to push and when to hold. That judgment is tested with customers, across the organization, and within the team
- Builds a high-performing team and holds people accountable while keeping their trust
- Leads through credibility and care, not force
- Turns vision into practical delivery
You have relevantwork experience in IT and an ETH, university or FH degree in Computer Science or a related field (sciences), are fluent in German and English, and enjoy the combination of technology, leadership and communication.
What we need from you first:
- Experience leading, mentoring, or building a team, with formal people leadership a strong plus
- Structured, analytical thinking and the ability to bring order to complexity
- A solid command of project management, enough to set the standard, step in when governance requires it, and judge the work with authority
You also bring:
- Readiness to travel within the DACH region and occasionally worldwide (required)
- Experience in IT project consulting and IT project management
- Qualifications such as PMP, CAPM and/or Prince2 are desired
- Experience with global networks and internet service providers
- Conceptual knowledge of basic network security concepts and practices
- A feel for the commercial and relationship side of working with ISP partners, including negotiation, is a welcome addition
