In today’s digital age, instant information is the norm. But this transparency disappears when it comes to consumer products, and their ethical and sustainable production through supply chains. Addressing the global climate challenge and safeguarding both humanity and the planet requires a transformation in food systems.

Co-founded by WWF and The Boston Consulting Group, OpenSC is on a mission to revolutionize the way we buy and produce products by providing data on transparency and traceability for supply chains.
We deliver social and environmental impact by providing supply chain transparency that empowers brands to know, influence, and prove (to third parties) the sustainability of their supply chain practices.
This is achieved through the OpenSC platform, which leverages AI, Blockchain and Remote Sensing technologies to enable automated ingestion, analysis, and sharing of a supply chain’s data.
Tasks
- Develop, manage and execute implementation plans for a new commodity and supply chain, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for our customers.
- Work closely with our customers to understand their needs and expectations to define a solution that ensures each implementation is fit for purpose.
- Engage in establishing consensus and cultivating cooperative connections with both our customers and their suppliers.
- Conduct the mapping of supply chains and validate claims for new products.
- Evaluate the provided data against the essential prerequisites for a designated supply chain.
- Guarantee the punctual and cost-effective execution of projects, promptly identifying and addressing significant delivery risks.
- Understand and communicate key business processes and assess change impact for a given solution.
- Work closely with our product and tech team to translate customer feedback into product features.
- Effectively communicate to our platform team project milestones, deadlines, and realities on the ground that affect data coming into the platform.
Requirements
- Business fluent in English PLUS in either Spanish, French, or Portuguese (mandatory).
- Strong alignment with OpenSC’s vision and a desire to have a positive impact on the world.
- Proven experience in project management and implementation in supply chain.
- Strong management and communication skills; ideally experience with multidisciplinary teams.
- Track record of collaboration with and presenting to senior executives.
- A solid track record of building strong client relationships within large organizations.
- A pragmatic, entrepreneurial, and hands-on approach.
- Bring enthusiasm and grit – and the ability to have fun at work.
- Experience in a related industry (supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, agriculture, certification, sustainability, or human rights).
