Product Engineer (m/f/d)

Overview

As a Fullstack Engineer at Operations1, you will shape the core product that digitizes and optimizes shop-floor processes. You’ll work in a cross-functional team, spanning design, product, and engineering, to deliver sustainable, customer-focused solutions. You’ll design and implement features across the stack and participate in product discovery, driving robust, scalable software. You’ll also integrate AI-assisted tooling into daily engineering practices to raise quality and productivity. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact on production efficiency and quality.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Develop features across Angular, Node.js, deployed on Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with product, design and engineering to solve customer challenges
• Ensure long-term sustainability and maintainability through thoughtful architecture and code reviews
• Leverage AI coding agents for scaffolding, refactoring, test generation, and code reviews while ensuring output quality
• Shape adoption of agentic development tooling within CI/CD pipelines and workflows
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior team members

Zentrale Anforderungen

• ≥5 years of professional software development experience
• Solid CS fundamentals and systems thinking with sound architectural decisions
• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, especially Angular and/or Node.js
• Hands-on experience with AI coding agents in a professional setting
• Proven ability to work with Product teams to deliver impactful experiences
• English communication skills; German is a plus
• Willingness to occasionally work from Cluj or Frankfurt offices
