- Your Responsibilities
- As an
Site IT Infrastructure Specialist , you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of IT systems and infrastructure at the site level . You will work closely with local users, IT technicians, the central Helpdesk, and regional and Group IT teams.
- Ensure the proper functioning of local IT infrastructure, networks, systems, and end-user environments .
- Provide
Level 2 IT support to local users and act as the local point of contact for IT technicians and the central Helpdesk.
- Troubleshoot and resolve local IT operational issues , escalating complex incidents to regional or Group IT teams when required.
- Support the deployment, implementation, and maintenance of
IS/IT solutions at site, division, and Group level.
- Provide technical guidance and training to local end users and IT technicians when needed.
- Participate in
IT system and infrastructure rollouts , ensuring successful implementation at site level.
- Support local IT projects by following timelines, budgets, and implementation activities .
- Ensure compliance with
Group IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, and best practices .
- Maintain accurate
IT documentation, procedures, and operational records .
- Provide regular updates on
IT operations, incidents, projects, and key activities to site and IT leaders.
- Collaborate with site management, local teams, regional IT, and Group IT to ensure business continuity and minimize operational disruptions.
Your Profile
- Degree in IT, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in
IT infrastructure and operational support , preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in
Level 2 end-user support and troubleshooting IT incidents.
- Good knowledge of networking (wired and wireless), VMware, Microsoft Server environments, and IT infrastructure operations .
- Familiarity with hardware installation, cabling, and local IT infrastructure setup .
- Understanding of
IT security, standards, and compliance requirements .
- Experience supporting local IT projects, deployments, and system rollouts is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills .
- Customer-oriented mindset with a strong focus on service quality and business continuity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural teams.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while collaborating with regional and Group IT teams.
Fluent in German and good command of English.
